Who here lives between Pa and Az?

I just found out tonight that we may be doing a job in Arizona. I don't know what part yet but the job will last 5 weeks. I have never been out west and look forward to seeing the Grand Canyon. I would also like to do some Prarie dog shooting on the way back. I was just wondering who here lives along the way and maybe we could get together.  Dale

Digger that would be alot of fun. I won't know if we are going to do the AZ job or the FL job till tomorrow. I am hoping foe AZ I would really like to see the Grand Canyon. If you get the chance PM me your phone number. Thanks Dale

Back in the 70's when I was in AZ, I thought the North Rim of the Grand Canyon was nicer than the more popular South Rim.  Not near the crowds and a more scenic drive through the Kaibab Forest.  Now you are making me want to take a trip.

Dale, from what I have read I hope you get to AZ, best of luck buddy. I hope you can meet up with the fine members here who have responded, Larry, Doug and the others who have answered your post. To bad you have to be "Handiless" for the trip....<><....:)

  MSP ret I may be Handiless for the trip but I won't be without a rifle. I took my new Remington SPS 243 out to the range this morning and shot the best 300 yard group I have ever shot in my life. It was a 3 shot group with 58 grain Hornady Vmax. The first two were touching and the third shot opened it up to 3/4''. I can not even believe it my self. I brought the target home and showed my wife ans she was like so what.    Dale

I'm in Pueblo CO. Right close to I 25 IF you come this way. I'd take the day and get you some p'doggin.

I 80 to Limon then to CO Springs, I 25, to 160 west to hwy 89 and you'll go right by that big ditch/ I mean gully.  You'll see a whole lotta beautiful country this way too.  Mileage is about as short as possible any way.  When I was driving from here to Cleveland, that's the way we went.

Keep the info coming on what and when etc.  I'm alone here and have an extra bedroom for a layover if you can work it out too.

If you go there you will like it and move there for good.  Open carry state, you see 44's in holsters in the Wal-Mart daily, keep a loaded pistol in the glove compartment if it is in a holster.  Just like the good old days.   Larry
