I don't believe the detachable mag conversion will hinder accuracy. If it's the Kwik-Clip conversion, it may help ever so slightly because the Kwik-Clip feesd the rounds in the center, in essence a double to single stack.
The downside is that you can no longer load your rifle without removing the magazine and loading it separately. The BDL-DM, Mossberg 4x4, and older Savage C models are the only domestic bolt actions whose detachable mags can also be fed while inside the rifle.
The good side - the Kwik-Clip conversion can be removed from your 700 and the original mag restored so that the rifle is just as it was before, with no penalty for having tried something new.
