RWS 46E Air Rifle What's your Opinion?
« on: August 31, 2007, 08:44:40 AM »
I am in the process of buying a RWS 46E Deluxe Model air rifle .177, has been completely gone over and tuned. Set up for HFT with a Tasco 2.5X10X44 Scope.

Would like to hear from some one who has the same model and what they think of them.

Well, I love mine.  It may just be my most accurate rifle.

I love mine. It's got a 4x scope on it and I use it for target shooting and pest control. It's got the excellent blend of adequate power, low noise, and ease of use. The only complaint is that the actual velocities is closer to 750fps, as measured by my chronograph. My understanding is that RWS typically grossly overinflates its velocity figures. So if you can tolerate that, it's still a good gun. I do feel ripped off by RWS because of their deliberate exaggeration in velocity claims.
