Ahhhh the results of visiting the gun show and flea market at Hillsville, VA !


The first and fourth  is the cannon my wife bought me - shoots caps!

The second is an accident waiting to happen - note thinness of backplate welded on the tube.

The third is a sheet-metal display cannon.

TIM, any others there? i didn't go this year, didn't feel like getting in a half million crowd. where you going to put the new ones? i know you don't have very much room left ;D ;D ;D

Lance -

YES, there were a few other cannons/mortars there and a BUNCH of other people there!  One vendor inside the VFW building had several small mortars and was asking $350 for a 2x10 mounted golf ball mortar that any fool could have made.

There's a market for them!

We could fill a table with mortars, cannons, hand-gonnes and pictures of them in action!

Now is the time to start planning too!
