Thinking of hunting Missouri this fall
« on: September 03, 2007, 03:44:51 PM »
Hello everyone. I am from wisconsin and me and 2 or 3 other guys are planning on hunting Missouri this fall. We are looking into the northeast part of the state. We were wondering near what towns there are lots of deer, and where nicer ones are generally found? Also, what are some good public areas if you wouldn't mind sharing? We would be hunting the archery season, probably the first week of November. We would also appreciate any information you may have. Thanks for the help!

I've bowhunted a couple of Conservation Areas in the North Central part of the state with decent success. They are Mineral Hills CA (2,000 ac) and Union Ridge (8,000 ac). Here's a link to help you out.

Good luck, maybe I'll see you up there.

thank you. My dad is working in southern IA now and came across a newspaper ad with land for lease. We are planning on hunting that 150 acres in early november. It is on the iowa border too.
