Browning Buckmark
« on: June 07, 2003, 04:11:16 PM »
I just bought a new Buckmark. In the owners manual under cleaning
it says not to remove the grips. It says they help contain some of the
internal parts. Can anyone tell me what happens when the grips are
 removed. Thanks for your help.

Nothing spectacular will happen.  Its been a while since I've had mine off but there is a small leaf spring and maybe the magazine release button.  Nothing flies out.  Just do one at a time and observe closely.  There is really nothing too it.  Somebody was thinking when they designed this gun.
