straight synthetic stock ?
« on: September 06, 2007, 08:53:57 AM »
Does NEF make a straight synthetic stock for the shotgun? All of my rifles and shotguns have wood stocks, and I have an extra synthetic monte carlo set, and I have a spare shotgun receiver w/ no stock that I am making a project out of, so I need a straight stock so I can see the bead sight. If not, I may just put wood on this one as well. Thanks guys, again thanks for the welcome here. Hal

ALL H&R stocks fit ALL frames except the 10gr shotgun and the Slug barrels which have bigger barrels and need big forend channels. The 2007 Retail Price list in the Centerfire FAQs lists a synthetic pistol grip stock that should work fine for you, it's likely the same stock as comes on Handis with iron sights.

Eaglewatch:

I have an extra straight synthetic off a Sidekick ML that I purchased last year.
I replaced it with a Monte Carlo stock when I scoped the muzzleloader.

I don't foresee any further use for it.  Send me a PM and maybe we can work something out.
NEF lists it for $33 new.  http://hr1871.com/Support/accessoryProgram.aspx

NEF SS Sidekick Muzzleloader (50 cal.)
