Yep, and it makes that clunky trigger pretty nice. Drill and tap the trigger guard for an allen screw for a trigger stop and it's even better. I used a 1/2" 8-32 stainless screw and ground it the right length so it was flush with the back of the trigger guard. I am building another 10/22 and it will have the hammer kit. The shims are kind of a pain to put in, other than that it is pretty easy to install.
