My new Rossi Trifecta in 243 won't shoot a group better than 8" at 100 yards off the bench. I tried 3 scopes and 2 mount systems. Sent it back to Rossi March 3 , 2007 . They sent a letter stating it would be repaired in 30 days. I still don't have the gun. I have called every couple of months and they keep saying they are waiting on a barrel from Brazil. I don't think they care and I doubt I will have my gun for hunting season. This is the worse gun experience I have ever had. No more Rossi guns for me !

I think I would call them one more time and politely ask them to replace the entire set if they can not fix your gun in a reasonable amount of time and see what they say.  If they balk at that I would politely inform them that my next call will be to the better business bureau.

P.S.; When dealing with situations like this, If I don't get a satisfactory answer from who ever it is I have on the phone I will keep on asking for that persons superior until I get hold of somebody that will give me an answer I can live with.

 :(  wbyman; sorry to hear of your experience.    Guess we all have them at one time or another.    Its gut wrenching when those things happen.   I hope for your sake they hurry up and get it back to you before hunting season.   I bought a lever gun by Rossi and worried about it until I got a chance to try it out.    The thing works perfect, but I've read of bad experiences too.

Hi;

I, too, bought a Trifecta and mine came with TWO  shotgun barrels -- one is 20 GA and the other is marked .243 but shoots a shotgun sized pattern at 50 and 100 yards.

Actually I'm glad they DON'T have their barrel program up and running or I might have wasted more money on this thing.

I wish I'd known about Graybeard before I bought it.
