rings and bases for Rem 700P
« on: September 10, 2007, 02:45:08 PM »
I need a set of 1 inch rings and bases for a Remington 700P in .308 that will be rock solid but not break the bank . I would like to stay under $130.00 max .will be shooting targets at 100 to 500 meters, than yotes now and then. don't need anything fancy just rock solid and hold zero under rough use.

I installed Warn bases and rings on my 700xcr and they are rock solid set-up. I am really happy with them.
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr

I like the Dual Dovetail set ups from either Leupold or Burris. To me they seem the most solid and strongest set up you can buy.

Thank's Greybeard, I have always used them in the past and they worked fine. just wanted to be sure there was nothing else new and improved . the only othe rings and bases I have used is Tally and they work ,but they are pricey and don't seam to be better in preformance in my experience .
