Encore Rifle forearm on Pistol?

I have hunted with my Encore for a few years in rifle configuration. I recently bought my first pistol barrel. It is a 15" 308. So far it is a lot of fun and I hope to use it this season for deer. The only thing I don't like is the forearm. I looked at my rifle forearm on the pistol and I think it looks good. It also gives me a sling connection and flat bottom for more stability. I am thinking of drilling it to fit the pistol barrel. Has anyone tried this if so, how did it work?

worked great for me. the added weight also helps with the muzzle flip. I believe you can try it with just the rear screw in the forward hole of the barrel.

The easiest way is to use the "Additional Options" below to the left of the post window, hit the browse button and locate the file you want to attach and click it, the pic will show as a clickable thumbnail beneath your text in the post.

I use the GBO owned site www.myhostedpics.com for storage, it like others, just require uploading the pic, then after it's uploaded, click on the link in the BB Code box and copy it, then paste it in your post window.
