Gunsmith to shorten, port and maybe rechamber handi?
« on: September 12, 2007, 03:40:44 PM »
Now that I have traded my 22" handi for a BC barrel in 45-70 I would like to find a smith to shorten to 25 to 27" and port the barrel and maybe re-chamber to 45-100. Any suggestions?
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

Here's the guy that's going to do mine. He was recommended to me by Quick and I spoke with him on the phone. I've seen some of his work and it looks good to me. JMHO

You should probably give this guy a call, he did a custom 17 Remington Handi barrel for me from a .17 hmr, then tapered and blued it.  First class work and a real fair price. give him a call nice fellow.   Larry
