Not a bad slug, not a "true" saboted projectile + it uses a foster type slug up front, {note the "rifled slug"} that's why it will work.
Saboted slugs need to be fired through a rifled barrel, as they are nothing but a rifle/handgun bullet in a plastic sabot to make up the difference in bore size. They need to be spun in order to stabilize. The rifled choke is meant for the Foster type slug, which is nothing but a shuttlecock, used in badminton, which relies on it's nose heavy design to keep it going straight. Shooting "sabots" through your gun won't necessarily "break" anything but accuracy will probably be horrendous. Try the regular Rem "rifled slugs" Federal and Winchester both make "rifled slugs" as well, one of them make what's called the "tru ball," those are worth a try as well.
All in all shoot "Rifled Slugs" through a smooth bore, you might find that a Imroved Cylinder choke works best. Saboted slugs are for rifled barrels.
