Recently I bought an ATI fiberstock for my Savage No4 Mk1*. When I installed it I noticed that fore end has a sizable gap (1/4" or more)
between the rear of the stock and the ring on the receiver that the butt stock attaches to. Also with the bolt at the mag well lose the fore end teeter totters on the receiver where the bbl and receiver meet. The bbl also doesnt sit down inside the bbl channel when the gun is fully assembled but rides high when the bolts are tight.
Has any one else had any problem with the fit of this model stock on their No4. If so did ATI make it right I noticed that their warranty states no questions asked replacement. I will call them tomorrow to see if they will help me as it is 3:30 P.M. PST right now and they are on central time.
