Are most of you guys shooting the 357 with open sights?

I do not have a 357 (yet) but the 44 Mag has been fun. Not sure why I got that barrel when I sent it in but it has set here for quite a few years and now just breaking it in.

I have 6 kids and started all of em out on a NEF however my youngest son Taylor picked the 44 mag riffle out for his first deer hunt. He could have picked (with youth loads) the NEF 243, a Rem 722 257 Roberts with a brand new pac-nor barrel, a 7-30 Waters, 270, 22-250, or even the super neat Thompson center TCR in a 30-06.

Last evening when he shot a head of cabbage (that was getting old) from 25 yards the big grin confirmed just how much he enjoyed shooting it.

I see a 357 mag and 45 LC in my future now that I have a dedicated frame to shoot open sights.
