« on: September 13, 2007, 06:26:53 PM »
I know this is probably common knowledge to you guys . But i was just paging through the TC accessories on their website and saw that they had co2 cartridge's with the muzzle-loading stuff. what are they used for ? I will venture a guess that it is to clear the barrel of obstruction in one fashion or another . thanks ,justin

they are used to blow the charge and bullet out of a barrel after a hunt without having to fire it.

Or in the case of my shooting buddie, "to clear a ball and patch when he forgot the powder" ::)
He did this twice in one day. I know we could have put some powder in thru the nipple threading but this was a lot faster.
