I dont know if they did but they need to the 1 i bought was brand new had a gun shop order it for me got it home cleaned it all up good the thing stoved pipe the empty shells and would put 1 in the chameber and wouldnt fire it had to pull the bolt back a little waze let the bolt close and then it would fire when i pulled the trigger i new better than to buy a auto matic in this round but i did u just cant beat a bolt rifle >:( i sent i back to marlin hopeing they can get the crazy thing fixed for me what little bit i shot it going through the trouble i had it seem to shoot well i tried 4 diffrant ammos they all did the same thing jamming but it shot them all well grouped well so i am down on this little marlin 717 m2 right now leave it to me to get a lemon or a rifle never had a rifle or pistol that did this so  makes me real  >:( >:( mad    hope they get it fixed

i just looked on there site didnt see any thing that said that they quite makeing the rifle

My Marlin contact says that neither the bolt or semi-auto 17M2 Marlins are good sellers, so they may very well discontinue them, they have enough parts to make a few more and that may be the end of em.

I hope peeps keeep buying the 717, it is truly a awesome, and accurate, and reliable to feed and eject little rifle.
