I have the Mossy Oak elite turkey vest and started using it for archery last year. Its the greatest thing since sliced bread. Lots of pockets for your grunt tube, different scents, and of course most importantly snacks. I especially like using the vest, because it keeps things seperate and you don't have to go rooting around in your pack to find the item you want. I believe it makes a big difference in minimizing my movement while sitting in my treestand. The vest is also great for distributing the weight of all my gear evenly over both shoulders, it is more comfortable than using a pack. I must admit however, that the pack is handy to set on top of a tree branch or rock and be used as a steady handgun rest.
My son and I are fortunate to be able to hunt some private property for archery, however there are homes too close to allow us to hunt this land with any type of a gun. Therefore, we hunt some of the state game lands here in PA., and let me tell you, they can get mighty crowded. So during the rifle / handgun season I wear as much floresent orange as possible. This means back to the orange packpack, and the turkey vest stays at home. But if I were hunting an area where the number of hunters was substantially less, I'd be using the vest
