New scope for my 45-70 barrel

Just thought I would share...here's my new scope for my 45-70 barrel this season...I got drawn for a controlled hunt in a good area just 45 minutes from my home...1st time trying and am pumped... ;D ;D ;D



It's the Nikon Omega 250 BDC...3x9...can't wait to go shoot it...It is a great scope...super long eye relief..extra bright and clear edge to edge...

Congrats on the new scope and the drawing!! ;) Don't ya just love that big label they put on top of the BDC scope ocular bells, I have the same one on a Buckmasters 6-18x40SF BDC...... marketing!! ::)

Yup...I figured I would leave it there till I see how the scope does...then it is coming off..

Nice scope. It should sure do the job with no problems. I got a call today from my local gun guy. My 7mm-08 arrived today. It will eb home tomorrow after work. Looking forward to sighting it in.

I got my 45 70 barrel today and I've already got it scoped and ready to shoot. Now all I need is for someone to find a really large herd of Buffalo's and take a GPS reading and then call me. According to alot of 45 70 shooter,I can point mine in the directiion of the herd in WY. or anywhere,and kill the whole herd with one shot. :D :D :D :D :D   Digger
