I bought a Gander Mtn. version of the Block target last winter on sale and only now just got around to using it getting ready for the season. First 3 bolts using my old Horton xbow burried so far into the the target at 25 yds. that i had to use a plyers to get them out and messed up the alum. shafts. Used target points on them. Any ideas what caused that? My ususal shots at deer are 25-30 yds so that is how I practise in the back yard. I thought all targets made with the layer system can be used with either broadheads or target points. I have only used the bag type targets in the past and thought I would upgrade when that bag wore out last year...now I am still using it!
Second question is re. bolts- I use Easton 2219 but I also have some that are 2216. What is the difference between them in weight and what difference should I see in performance at practise ranges.
Thanks,
Joe
