What does chrome lined barrel mean?

Hey guys,  just exactly what is a chrome lined barrel? Does it mean the inside of the barrel is chrome plated or that there is a chrome tubing/dowel  inserted inside the barrel which is then rifled. The remington spr 18s are supposed to be chrome lined.

A "chrome lined" barrel means that the interior of the barrel is electroplated with industrial hard chromium (not cosmetic) for resisting corrosion and ease of cleaning.
