5.7x28

Well I did it, ordered a 5.7x28 Encore barrel from MGM during their sale.  Good delivery and Great workmanship.  They said 4-6 weeks and it arrive during the 6th week as promised.  Ordered another set of Georgia Jim stocks for the Encore to go with it just need to do a little fitting of the barrel channel to get the barrel free floated.

Picked up 2 boxes of factory loaded ammo for it for a range trip, will be interested in seeing the accuracy of this round as compared to the other rounds I regularly shoot.  The round falls between the 22WRM and the 22K-Hornet.  FNH USA is loading them with 40gr Hornady V-Max bullets.

The barrel is Stainless Steel 14inches in length full bull with a 1-12 twist.  I had them include one of their Weaver style scope bases.

I ordered a hanger bar from Straton Customs and purchased a set of Weaver Quad Lock Rings to mount a Burris 10x IER scope I had laying around

And got my Georgia Jims this week, as I said before I just need to open the barrel channel a little bit to make sure the barrel isn't touching the wood then it'll be off to the range for a little shooting

All in all, I'm very happy with the package.  Now to see how accurate it is
