I have three, albeit they are Contender barrels they are very well made and required no special fitting. Jeff and Kerry do an excellent job and normally their turn around time is 4-5 weeks. My .357 max carbine is "prairie dog accurate" at 150 yds. Given the caliber and bullets I consider that a testament to their quality. My .204 Ruger barrel is a whole nother story.....it has a reach well beyond 400 yds. Unless you specify something else they use Shilen barrel blanks that in my opinion are as good as anyones. As with all the TC custom house barrels I am aware of, technically they don't 'make' barrels, they chamber them, weld a lug on and add parts.
For reference if you take the price of a stock factory barrel, double it, that will tell you about what a MGM barrel will cost you. But that mirror finished bore will clean up so easy that by itself almost makes it worth it.
