Problems with AOL and this site!!!!!!!

I have AOL and I have problems with this site when I use it. When I come here when I am on AOL the boxes on the forum index do not fill in and I have a problem with the computer freezing also. Do any of you guy's that use AOL have problems?    Dale

You might try temporarily disabling Java script or stopping animations

AOL is Evil, and a Nightmare for Web Designers... It's almost impossible to make sites work like they are supose to with AOL, and you have to Decrease your security due to the revolving IP #'s. After years of trying to make it work on my sites, I stopped... if people are going to Pay AOL, they can deal with the Trash they are paying for. ~Ace~

I wouldn't use AOL if it was the only browser to use...I suggest you use a different browser...

wasn't aol on the NRA"S list of business unfriendly to gun owners or such ? They also donate $$$ to anti gun groups i believe was printed in some of the gun trade magazines .

Dale, I would recommend you use Firefox instead of the AOL browser, that should end your problems, you can download it free, to use it, just log on to AOL like you do normally, then open Firefox and away you go. I know you have an older PC, Firefox is compatible with all windows OS, although it works best with XP. The download is almost 6Mb, so it will take a while to download on dialup, but it'll be worth it. ;)

AOL is BAD.. Internet Explorer is just OK.. Firefox is best and free ;)

I am using Firefox on MS Vista 32 Home Premium. I have no problems. They are getting most of the bugs out of Vista (mostly drivers). ;D

  As the others have said Firefox is absolutely superior to what you are now running now. The only bone will be the long download if you have dial up. You will wonder why you ever became associated with AOL, really, that much less trouble free. I`m running Linux as an OS and Firefox is absolutely great! Might even be better yet with Windoze!

In-case your interested, some others to avoid are LEVI's, PEPSI and HALLMARK. If they don't support me I don't support them!! look what BUDWEISER did a couple years back. Somehow it got out that they where also an anti-gun supporter. they went WAY overboard to show that this was not the case and that they have always supported legal gun ownership. We CAN make a difference!!

It's not just this site, guys a leverguns sites are having the same issue.  AOL gives gun sites fits, but the porn sites have free run.  To them it's "freedom of speech" nevermind the second amendment.

Do as recommended, dump AOL and tell them why.

    Some time back you were saying that you work had slowed down somewhat. This might be another area you could save money. try looking at netzero as an ISP and see if they can't help you for less $$$.
