Have no fear! It has been studied, and it seems that deer don not see blaze orange. If it required where you hunt, then definitely wear it. Deer do see UV brightened clothing, and washing your clothes with UV killer can help. The deer's main defense is smell. If you set up where they cannot wind you, you are ahead of the game. Deer also pick up movement, so it is prudent to stay still on stand as well. I would say that that the more you break up your silhouette, the better off you are, either from the camo pattern, or brush where you set up
Here in Northern NY, we are not required to wear orange, but when I hunt Pa or Southern Zone NY, where it is required, I have never had a deer pick me up because I am wearing orange. Usually, it is the wind, or I moved to quickly or at the wrong time. I'm not color blind, but I hope this helps.
