Anyone shoot a NEF 357 Maximum or 357 DW

After reading *why a 357 thread * I decided I better have one. Then got to thinking about having it rechambered to a 360 DW (better bras IMO) or 357 Max and still have the option to shoot 357 Mag or 38 Specs.

I use both the 357 Maximum and 357 DW brass to use for my rimmed 17 Mach IV Contender and think it would be nice to shoot one of em.....

Just curious as to how they shot and if they have a noticeable felt recoil and noise?

You don't have to rechamber for 360 DW (probably).  Mine and others have throats long enough from the factory.  I haven't tried Max brass in mine yet.....but it is PRETTY long.

I am shooting 140gr XTP and the recoil is noticeable, but not anything to right home about.  I know that I am firing the DW loads.  The 38's barely move the muzzle.  The 357 Mags can be felt, about a 223 or so.  The 360 DW is about at 243 level, but not as fast of recoil, more like 410 shotgun.

In my opinion.

I dig the 360 DW loads, going to try 158 SP's next probably.  I went with 140 XTP for lightest possible recoil for child, but I don't think that the 140 XTP is going to break a bone very well.
