summit stands

has anyone used the summit stands skin kit?
I was told they do not last long on the stands and wondering if there is any truth to this.
how well do they work and are they worth putting on my stand?

I have never used the skin on my stands, but when I was at the local hunting store the other day I noticed that the skin on the display model was peeling off. The stand was outside but under a cover. This might mean that the person that put it on didn't clean the stand first or it may be a faulty product?
