Before sizing the lee loading book said to lube inside the neck with a Q-tip wouldnt that get in to the powder charge?

Why in the world are you paying Midway prices rather than saving yourself money and buying from a site sponsor like Midsouth? You just like giving away more money than needed?

Roger,

What cartridge are you reloading for? With that info we might be able to help you more.

First thing First,  Graybeard I will definately call midsouth on my next order i make. I need to save all the money i can for reloading for my 7mm magnum and the 460xvr.                                               Next- Greg-I,m loading for the 7mm magnum cartridge, some info says large rilfe and some says large rilfe magnum which one? I,ll be using reloader 22 powder. I have the lee sizing lube in the tube, and the hornady unique case lube in the tub. Should i get the hornady one shot lube in the red can? ?   Still cant understand the Q-Tip in side the neck area??

Roger,

So general things here, use magnum primers when the manual calls for it. Most of the time they are used to light off large loads of ball powders. Just because it is a "Mag" round does not mean it has to be a mag primer. I use the oneshot lube when I have a large number of rounds to do at a time, if I have a small amount of cases that don't need much I will use a pad and roll the cases. Now if I am resizing from one size to another as in necking up or down a case then I use Imperial Sizing Wax, it is the best out there for that kind of work. Now what they are talking about is just a very very small amount on the inside of the neck before you size it so that the expander ball does not drag and stretch out the neck too much.  After sizing be sure to clean all lube off the loaded rounds, you want them nice and clean so that when you shoot they case can expand and grip the chamber like it should. As for loads with Reloader 22 I would check the books and stick with them. If you have more questions be sure and ask.

Greg,          Thanks for all the help guess i,ll be making another trip back to the gun shop for some LR primers and hornady one shot. Hornady bullet load data says LR but Nosler,Speer, sierra, etc all use LRM primers
