.338 Federal Brass?????

I picked up a nice Kimber Classic in .338 Federal.  It is a beautiful gun and I will be glad to take it to the range whenever I can get some ammo for it.  No one in my local area has any and it is killing me.  I am ordering a set of dies and will reload as I do for all my guns though and should be ok eventually.  However my question is where is the brass???

I checked out all the mail order houses and no one seems to carry the brass.  I have enough .308 brass that I can size up, but it just doesn't seem right for a factory round to be treated like a wildcat round!!! 

Also, does anyone have any info, or advise on reloading this round?

I think the problem is that Federal no longer sells components for reloading and the other brass supplier companies do not yet load for it due to it being so new and as of yet (and likely forever) not very popular. I see it doomed to the same fate as the .358 Winchester.

Bill ya got to think more positively.  Give the little round a chance.  As of now, it fits neatly into my needs.  Many a wildcat and new factory round had some bumps in the road.   



Hey Or-e-Gun bill, thanks for the info.  I had not seen that article and it was helplful.  I am in the process of making an order for the dies and some bullets right now.
