I tried some of them at the end of last deer season. In my limited range time they grouped very tight. The one deer I shot at a little over 100 yards just dropped. Of note tho is Hornady has downgraded the velocity from 2050fps to 1810fps. The ones I have are the higher velocity load.   Dave

I"ve shot some of this ammo out of my 22 inch 45-70 and it is awesome. At 100 yards a five shot group is just one big hole.I have it about 21/2 inches high at 100 and at 200 yards it was about 7 inches low which is as advertised on the box.Try some.

I used the 325's  in my handi this last august up in Canada and took a 235# black bear. 1 shot thru the left front shoulder exited just behind the right shoulder. He went about 25 feet and had an exit hole 3 fingers wide.Works for me. T

Great round, can't you tell by the avatar ;D.  I only killed one doe last year, but the round did it's job. The doe was hit about 95 yds and it just bowled her over. Still have two boxes left from last season, I heard they cut the powder charge down, so I'll stay with rounds I have now.

Their web site lists the velocity at 2050.  Maybe they got the powder supply issue resolved.

Thanks for all the replies.

I bought 2 boxes today and they do have them marked 1875fps. I'll give them a try this weekend. I'm going to bring it along on my Elk hunt coming it and I think these will do the trick.
