You guys in the south be sure to check any permanent stands you have. The other day I went to one of my ladder stands, cut shooting paths, and trimmed in general. I climbed my stand to admire my work and while sitting there overheard a sound that sent schivers up my spine. It was the buzzing of a yellow jacket nest that had been made during the summer under the seat of my stand. After jumping almost 16 feet to the ground I still substained 8 stings. That was one time I'm glad to have carried some Benadryl in my first aid pack.
