Hornet Barrel Profile Availability

Can someone please advise what options, if any, for different barrel profiles in a Hornet?

Only two, 20" Superlight and 22" standard contour. Shaner got a 24" bull barrel, but that was something special he just happened to catch H&R with one time, the only one I know of like it.

Tim - Could you post a super lite next to a regular weight barrel for me? I have never seen a super lite up close. I have seen pictures of them , but they are by them selves and I do not have one to compare it to.

This comparison is a 22 Hornet(top) and 243 Superlight, the big difference is in the taper of the barrel, the Superlight barrel measures .760" ahead of the chamber swell where the straight part of the barrel starts, and tapers slightly to .628", the Hornet barrel starts at .988" and tapers to .650", not a lot of difference at the muzzle.
