I have one, that was made the first year of production. At that time they used the barrel from the Marlin Target Rifle. I haven't done alot of real serious target shooting with it; I use it off-hand at improvised targets to prepare for centerfire rifle hunting, due to its weight and balance. Over at another site ( I am not sure of GBO's policy of giving out other site's ) they discuss this model often, all speak well of it, except some don't like the plastic stock. Most tweak the trigger, or put in an aftermarket unit. Enjoy!!

I have one..it is a very accurate rifle. I rather like everything about it, including the fiber stock which I painted camo (using Krylon Fusion paint).

The trigger is a bit too light however, since I got a bit over exuberant with my stone..
