Finally Got One

I finally got a nice clean Savage 24V series B at the Gun Show in .30-30/20 Gauge. I had to pay $400.00 but the metal finish is perfect and the black walnut stock is really nice. I will post pics soon. The guy wanted $600.00 to start with which is nuts IMO.  ;D ;D

These guns are getting expensive because they are very popular among us "survival enthusiast"

This is about the best combo that they offered IMO.

I once owned one of those and paid $125 for it. They have really jumped up in price over the past ten years.

I hope to find another in maybe .22/.410 or .22 Mag./20 for small game season.  I'm pretty sure the centerfire barrel is taboo here in small game season.

The .357/20 would be nice but they are real expensive.  Maybe they didn't make that many.
