Getting close
« on: September 30, 2007, 03:02:56 PM »
My son and I went to our lake and built our duck blind today.  Season doesn't start for another month and a week (whose counting  ;D) but we wanted to get it build on a day with nothing else to do.

I was fortunate to get in the top ten with my pick at the state blind drawings, which is pretty good luck.  With this low number we were able to get the spot we wanted.

Only one more blind to build, which will be next weekend and we are ready for November.

You guys/gals have your blinds ready for season?

Work day at one place was friday - built a new
Work day at another place was saturday - brushed blinds and worked on the decoys
Work day on family farm was sunday - hung 3 stands and fixed up a couple more

My shoulders are sore but I'm starting to get excited... I also shot for the last time before the Colorado rifle opener.
