Proper deminsions for 25-06 case.
« on: October 01, 2007, 10:14:18 AM »
My unfired 25-06 brass is measuring .463" diameter about 3/8" from the bottom of the case.  Some of my fired brass has a little ridge circling the case at that point and the diameter is .470".  Is this a dangerous situation and if not how big can that ridge get before I should discard the case?

Sounds like you might be running some high pressures.  My .280 used to do that until I backed off about a grain.  I never had any seperate, but I they were hard to eject onces in a while.  I would try to back it down a little and see what happens.
