Leave it to California
« on: October 02, 2007, 11:05:30 AM »
This is Pure BS Let the Beaners have California!  >:( >:( >:(

"On September 27, 204 Marines and soldiers who were returning from Iraq were not allowed into the passenger terminal at Oakland International Airport. Instead they had to deplane about 400 yards away from the terminal where the extra baggage trailers were located."

This was not a security measure. After going through super-tight security, checking for contraband, ammunition and explosives in Kuwait, the soldiers and Marines had been allowed in the terminal building in Germany and at JFK in New York. But on the far-left coast they were quarantined from civilians.

This smacks of the bad old days in the Bay Area when returning Vietnam vets were spat upon. Some high-ranking military person should make sure it never happens again. Our Iraq vets should be welcome anywhere and everywhere.

Yes; I added this to the "Is Nancy nuts" string..just like the America hating perverts in SF to declare the place a "sanctuary city" for those who break our laws..

.. And then mistreat the heroes that protect the precious freedom that those same perverts abuse !

I am not a "beaner" but I did live in Calif. at one time.

It would be nice to first discover why they were deplaned prior to the terminal.  There could have been a bomb threat that closed the terminal.  There could have been a lawful demonstration that was anti war and they didn't want to subject the soldiers and marines to verbal abuse.  It could have been the airline that had some valid reason to deplane them where they did.

I do think that the term you use for Hispanics is rude, crude, and socially unacceptable for a moderator on Greybeard.

This is the latest press release from the Port of Oakland. This is the SECOND time this situation has occurred at Oakland. Did management not learn from the first mistake.

October 2, 2007

Additional Contacts:
TSA - Nico Melendez, 909-472-0142
North American Airlines - Steve Forsyth, 770-632-8322
Hilltop Aviation - Michael Sawley, 510-577-6710

The following statement was delivered by Assistant Director of Aviation Deborah Ale-Flint to members of the media earlier today.

Hello. My name is Deborah Ale-Flint. I'm the Assistant Director of Aviation here at Oakland International Airport, which is owned and operated by the Port of Oakland.

With me here today are a few other Port of Oakland representatives:
o Omar Benjamin, Executive Director;
o Joe Wong, Deputy Executive Director - Operations & Administration; and
o Harold Jones, Deputy Executive Director - External Affairs.

We have invited you here today to provide you with more information about a military charter flight which operated at Oakland International Airport on Thursday, Sept. 27, 2007.

But first, I want you to know that all of us here at Oakland International proudly serve and support our nation's military service men, women, and their families and friends. They are always treated with the highest level of respect and we go out of our way to ensure that their travel experience through our airport is in line with our very high customer service standards.

Oakland International Airport has had a long history of working with the military. Oakland was the Bay Area's airport launch point during the Vietnam conflict for military transport aircraft. Also, Port of Oakland leadership has had a strong military background, with three past Port Executive Directors who held various positions in the U.S. military.

We are extremely sorry that we inconvenienced some of our service men, women and their families and friends during their brief stay here in Oakland last week. I also want to acknowledge the hurt feelings of many in our community, both locally and nationally, as a result of this situation.

We want you all to know that Port of Oakland staff is taking a leadership role to address the mistakes that were made involving this North American Airlines flight, and we are working with all parties involved so that we can prevent this from occurring again.

Here are some details of the military charter flight which landed and departed Oakland last Thursday.

North American Airlines, a charter airline, was contracted by the U.S. military to transport service people from Iraq to Hawaii, with a few aircraft service stops scheduled in the U.S. Oakland was one of these locations.

Airport personnel had worked with Hilltop Aviation, a ground handler here at Oakland which contracts with North American Airlines, to coordinate the aircraft arrangements and passenger handling for this flight.

Airport staff was notified by Hilltop Aviation that the passengers on this flight were not screened per Transportation Security Administration (TSA) procedures. Also, we were notified that weapons were on-board this flight. Airport procedure is to park aircraft away from the terminal building when these two conditions are present. Together with the TSA, this decision was confirmed to Hilltop Aviation.

Please understand that commercial airports, such as Oakland International, pose a very unique operating environment. We are governed by federal rules and regulations pertaining to passenger and aircraft handling, and the safety and security of all who use our airport is our number one priority.

Airport staff did not receive advance notice from Hilltop Aviation that some of the service men and women on-board had anticipated meeting family and friends during their brief stay here in Oakland. If this information had been shared in advance, there would have been a different outcome.

In fact, North American Airlines operated another military charter flight here into Oakland earlier on the same day. There was a specific request from Hilltop Aviation to Airport staff to allow these passengers to come into the terminal building, and this was coordinated successfully with Hilltop Aviation and the TSA.

While we cannot speak for the other parties involved in coordinating this military charter flight, we do encourage you to contact them directly with any further questions.

Getting a little PC here guys  ???seems like every time I go on line and come here some one is complaining about Bush and his immigration policy and no one wants the Mexicans here so I use the term Beaner and now I am the bad guy? Well I have no intentions of backing off that comment unless the rest of the guys who are against the Immigration policy get chastized too. I am half Irish and half German you want to call me a mick or a kraut go for it does not faze me in the least. Further more the Administration has the right to say what ever they want to here since it is their site and I agree with that totally. They pay the bills here they have the right.  On the other hand some here think if your a moderator you should be PC at all times and not have a view on any subject. well I am not a mod for this section of the board just like any one else that is not the mod here so if the mod or the admin wants to chastise me that is there right. Lets hear  what GB or Matt or the mod has to say about it I will abide by their decision.

I guess I'm gonna allow it to stand. GBO has never been much of a politically correct place anyway and while we do not allow name calling or personal attacks of members we do have a history of allowing a lot of leeway in addressing non GBO members in this manner. For instance calling them demoncrats or my preferred dumocraps and we've allowed raghead to stand a few times.

True it's not remotely PC but as I said we're not particularly PC here and in reality gun owners and hunters and fishermen and trappers and such as make up this site as a group are hardly considered PC by most standards.

Had the term been used as a description or in addressing another GBO member it couldn't be allowed to stand but as a general description of illegals that at least MOST of us here do not appreciate I'm gonna allow it rightly or wrongly. I have to admit that California as a whole really is as unAmerican as it gets along with a few others from the east coast. Sure there are some really fine folks stuck there for their own personal reasons but taken as a whole on it's voting record and the way things are run by those in charge the place really does stink to high Heaven you gotta admit. It's not everyone there but is enough of them that they and not the reasonable folks run things sadly.

Right GB ..there obviously was no personal attack..any more than my speaking about perverts in SF was..if a person is NOT a pervert, then they don't have to put the shoe on..if they are a pervert, then I obviously was correct about them.

Oakland airport authorities are trying CYA..and they not only look like hopeless liberals..they are are looking like hopeless LYING liberals... (is there any other kind?)...LOL

As for Crow feather's attempts to help them with  the "lawful demonstrations" excuse..when REAL men and women come back from that bloody sandbox..
those "lawful demonstration" rabble rousers should be dispersed and sent away, so as not to trouble the real heroes !

The spokes "person" for Oakland Intl says there was information that there were guns on the plane....DUH !...DUH !

Our warriors carry their weapopns with them..they are their intimate frends...DUH !

I can't prove it, but I suspect that California is like a lot of states, such as my state (Washington); the folks who live out in the hinterlands are generally much more conservative than the big cities where the libs seem to congregate.

Jim, you will admit that Wisconsin has more than their share of libs and screwball politicians.  It's no secret that Washington has some real embarrassments, but I'm not ready to give up the state to them.  For crying out loud, look what Nevada has heaped on us with that idiot Reid and Nevada is as conservative a place as there is--except for Las Vegas and maybe Carson City.

As far as giving California back to the wetbacks--we don't have to, they're well into taking it back.  But as bad as it might be, I wouldn't concede anything to them g__ d_mned "beaners."

This is absolutely a true story.

I was driving by a public building where a person was trying to give away communist newspapers.  I saw a man running at this person with hate in his eyes so I pulled over.  I walked up in time to hear the guy tell the newspaper person " This is a free country, we can do what we want here so you have to stop what your doing".

If your doing what I don't like, you have to quit.  If you are a person I don't like, you have to go away.  If I don't like your nationality, religion, or sexual preference, I can call you names, burn crosses on your lawn, and even kill you if I want.

I can do this because this is the United States and that is what the term Republican stands for.

I am not a Democrat, I am a person who believes in God and what I have been taught in God's name.

What's the problem GB?  Beaners is O K but others aren't?  I didn't direct any name at anyone on this site.  So why did you delete it?

I guess that my problem is that the site has selective rules.  Some derogatory names are all right but others aren't.  Maybe you could list the names we can use and those that we can't so that our posts don't get deleted?

Then, I have to worry because if I don't play ball with you, I will get busted off here and my post deleted.  I very much disagree with you.  Is that enough to get me ejected?

ps;   Do you know what bigotry is?  It's a large tree in an Italian forest;  big - a - tree    get it?

One last thing before I go.

When, or if you are ever in California, go to Sacramento to the CHP Academy and view the names on the fountain in the center of the complex.  The names belong to those who have died while on duty in the course of protecting lives of Californians and THOSE WHO VISIT the State.  There are Mexican-American names among them.  One of them (I believe) pushed a white brother out of the way of a speeding car and was himself run over.  Others died just doing the mundane things officers do.  Go to their widows and children and say that he was a good beaner.

And you ask what my problem is.

No you're welcome to disagree with me with no penalty but in the end when it's decision time to allow or not allow I make that final decision. I can't give you a firm list of words you can and cannot use and look at any that are questionable or questioned on a case by case basis and decide as we go.

You need to understand tho I have ZERO use for illegals or terrorists and thus ZERO concern for their feelings. Don't really care if you like or dislike that either it's just the way things are.

I take the term beaner to be a reference to the illegals from Mexico and thu see no problem with it.

Crowfeather I had my own little piece of Heaven for 20 years it was a half acre wiith a camper on it and a shed. Never had any problems for 20 years with break ins except the neighbor kid did once looking for booze and did not steal anything. I know it was him because we used to party there a lot and I know that is what he was after as nothing else was taken at one time that shed was 12 x 28 and used as a hunting shack.  Then a heavy snowfall caved in the back part so I tore it down and left the front as a 12x12 shed. Then Two years ago the place down the road that had cabins that were left over from a resort rented them out to some Mexican Tree Planters. My place was broken into and Several chainsaws I had there a Stihl Brush Hog and some other tools were stolen. Some other local places got busted into also. Circumstantial yea at best I cannot prove it but damn funny I had the place for 20 years and never had anything stolen until they showed up as some other folks in the area got hit too. Not only did they break into my shed they broke a window on the camper and took a crowbar to the door and wrecked that breaking into my Camper. So if I want to call the SOB's Beaners I guess I have the right.

Gentlemen,

All I ask for is the right to disagree and speak my piece.  I consider you both honorable men as you explained without malice why you feel the way you do.  I know that I won't change your minds, and with the exceptions that you mentioned, I can understand your feelings towards those specific people.

I also would like to eliminate the illegals from this country.

As for the terrorists, send them up here, The griz like the taste of em.

There are many words which are disparaging of someone else and most of them I don't like .

That being said, I dislike even more, the "thought police" that have risen in this country in the last 25 years or so.

What is wrong with the first amendment ? Why is the PC crowd trying to limit free speech ?

...And why are most of the people going along with their attempts to destroy the first amendment ?

If a word is so bad that most people don't like it, anyone using that word will suffer the consequences of rapid unpopularity..

For instance; the dreaded "N" word..a disrespectful and usually unfair term..but some would have someone jailed for using it,

..or at least fired from their job.

How does the PC crowd react to other slurs ? Should a person be fired/jailed for using the "P" word for Polish

or the "W or D" word for Italian..perhaps the "K" word for Jews..should all these things be indictable offenses ?

I believe the first amendment should as it says, allow freedom of speech...even if the speech is stupid !...And if a person says something

about someone that is considered untrue, they better be ready to back it up.

The hypocrisy of the far left is painfully obvious ...and of course PC is just another term for "liberal censorship"..

       The left considers it a near crime to use the "Q" word or the "F" word when describing those who practice homosexuality;

..But just listen to the various degrading remarks the far left has for people who practice Christianity, hunting or trapping !

They  equate fundamental Christians with fundamental Islam terrorists and have so many slurs to describe them that they cannot all be listed here

As to hunters and trappers, they are equated as bloodthirsty, evil, deranged "Bambi killers"..but the lefties don't like the abortionists among

THEM to be called "baby killers"..

...And is the term "redneck" used to describe a white, southern, rural dwelling person any more respectful that the other,

obviously biased words mentioned above .

A couple days ago, an apparently not-too-bright man was arrested for burning a cross in his own yard !

Now, please tell me..even though I don't believe in burning either one; ..Why is burning a US flag "free speech" and burning a cross....a crime ?

Frankly some addle-headed judges  should reach some consistency..either both are free speech ..or both are a crime....DUH

...But why are the two acts regarded differently ?  HYPOCRISY !!!...that's why !

I would like some bleeding heart liberal to show me in the Constitution where it says..." A citizen has a guaranteed right..not to be offended"..

..Is it any wonder folks are more often using the term " loony left" ?

This would be a guess on my part but evidently according to the liiberals its ok to HATE your Country but not ok to Hate a Black Man. Mostly because black folks tend to vote Demoncrat because of the liberal handouts they get.Since liberals biggest pastime is PROTESTING burning a flag is ok in their book. My opinion is anyone caught burning a flag should have the crap kicked out of them which in the case of a liberal would be a all day job.

Clearly California has needed to filter out unwanted residence for years.  Take a look at some of them, Nancy came from Maryland, and big East Coast political powers.  Boxer is a New Yorker, along with buy the Gov. Davis.

I do not care for San Francisco because it is full of trash from all over the country.  Keep your dopers home, California does not need them.  It is sad when your children become street walkers in S.F. and Hollywood.

I have arrested a lot of people from around the country.  I remember the two young women living in a tent not far from the railroad tracks.  They were a support group for the dope growers down in the canyon.  They did not want to return to the Mid-West, life along the tracks was better. ???  Nor did the run away 16 year old want to return to her parents when I arrested her boyfriend who was wanted for attempted bank robbery.  I guess she thought the single shot shotgun cut down to a 13-inch pistol was for gathering game.

There are many other stories, from a lot of States.

So call your Nancy's, Barbara, and Gray Davis back to their home States.

Boxer was born in Brooklyn, New York to Jewish parents Sophie Silvershein (who was born in Austria) and Ira Levy.[1] She attended public schools, and graduated from Wingate High School in 1958. She also attended Camp Kinder Ring in Hopewell Junction, New York.[2] Levy graduated from Brooklyn College in 1962 with a degree in Economics. She was a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority, in the Phi chapter. Later the same year she married Stewart Boxer

There is a learning process to effectively using a gps.  Do not throw your compass and map away!

Boycott: San Francisco, L.A., Oakland, and City of Sacramento, CA.

I call them illegal immigrants because a large percentage of those here illegally are not of Mexican descent and are not categorized as such.  It is estimated that approximately 25 percent of the illegals are from the old Soviet Union, Iraq, Iran,  the Caribbean Islands, China, Viet Nam, etc. The term "Wetback,"  which was coined by the US Government and lead to the Mexican people calling themselves "Los Mojados (The Wet Ones)  refers primarily to the Mexican people, not all immigrants.

"Wetback is a derogatory term used to describe Mexicans who have immigrated illegally to the United States by swimming or wading across the Rio Grande--the river that separates the U.S. from Mexico. U.S. Border Patrol began using the word in 1944 to refer to illegal Mexican immigrants who were easily identifiable by their wet clothing.
In 1954, the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service made the word "wetback" official by naming the mission to remove illegal immigrants from the United States, Operation Wetback . In response to the increase of immigrants during the early 1950s, the agency developed the program to force immigrants (particularly Mexicans) back to their home countries. Aproximately one million Mexican Americans were deported in one year.

If Eisenhower could do this in the 50s, why can't that jerk Jorge W. Bush-It do it in 2007?

Ironglow,

There is a law enacted by the people that states anyone using words likely to incite a violent reaction is guilty of a crime.  I can see why the law is necessary.  It keeps the body count down.
IF THE WORLD DISARMED, WE WOULD BE SPEAKING THE LANGUAGE USED BY THE AGGRESSIVE ALIENS THAT LIVE ON THE THIRD MOON OF JUPITOR.

So what law is that????????? IF there is they must not enforce it or the Rev's Jessie and Al would be convicted daily!
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
