What if? Election 2008!
« on: October 02, 2007, 02:17:36 PM »
I thought this might be a fun poll.
99% of all Lawyers give the other 1% a bad name. What I find hilarious about this is they are such an arrogant bunch, that they all think they are in the 1%.

There is no good choice here it is all one and the same so I doubt I would even bother.  >:(

I guess I don't really see a choice I can say for sure I'd make. Likely tho I'd either vote for some other third or fourth party candidate or just not vote for President. I'd never vote dumocrap and cannot vote for Rudy no matter who is opposite him. McCain would be the same.

While I don't like Rudy, a failure to vote would be a vote for Hillery.  Think about it, which would be worse?  It's the old addage "The lesser of two evils".
Where is old Joe when we really need him?  Alaska Independence    Calling Illegal Immigrants "Undocumented Aliens" is like calling Drug Dealers "Unlicensed Pharmacists"
What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

I do NOT agree Rudy is the lessor of those two evils.

A vote for the lesser of two evils. Well, you still get evil in that case. Third party, although jhm's alternative, in MICHAEL JACKSON'S MONKEY, looks better that the two choices given here.

Looking at the polls, Hellary vs. Guliani may be the ticket.

Don't just look at the polls and hope that someone who's ok will be selected.  Get involved at the local and state level so that YOU can have a say in who the party nominees will be.  I'm doing this for the first time this election cycle here in Alaska, and it's not hard.  I don't want to just rely on hope that Rudy, Mitt or McVain won't be selected by my state party and the TV talking heads.

GB, I don't care how much you dislike Rudy, that statement is just plain wrong.  I don't like Rudy's stand on guns or abortions, but I don't like Hitlery's stand on anything (well maybe the castrating Bill thing).  ;)

I don't particularly like Guillani, as he is a turncoat - formerly a dem but now a republican in liberal's clothing - but a non vote, a vote for a 3rd party candidate or a write-in is just going to be a vote for herr frau von klinton.

Maybe the best thing that could happen to the dumbocraptic party this election is to have it split along racial lines:  poor blacks and the screamin' pulpit demons for osama's-bama and the wealthier, more intellectuallized for the klinton.

One thing ya gotta remember is that unless the dumbocraps are voted out, with a resounding numbers crunch, they will always cry foul and try to slide their agenda in through another back door.  The only time they go away quietly is when the defeat is so bad it is embarrassing.

Unfortunately, most dumbocraps are too ignorant to understand an embarrassing defeat but let's hope that we can drop both those two off the ballot and have them go back into hiding for another 4 years.  JMTCW.  Mikey.

I think Ron Paul will ensure that Hillary is elected.

I guess I'll vote for Rudy if it comes down to it.

I dont think you can do enough to embarass Hellery rotten Clinton!!!   Afterall she is Married to Bill and he did enough in the public eye to EMBARASE the whole country, we just have to keep up the hard work to keep them out, and if they do get in, we just have to work vary hard against anything they try to pass, And always remember they cant take away anything they dont know you have ( wink wink) It does pay to have a complete shop around the house and friends who are tool makers.   JIM

My beliefs are the same regarding those mentioned.  However, Fred Thomson does support the 2nd Amendment, has strong conservative views and widely known throughout the nation.  He has the best chance to win against Hitlery.   I certainly cannot support or vote for any Demonrat.

the sad thing is most running will say what ever their handlers tell them to and forget everything if elected and blame it on not knowing all the facts until they took office , guess Ms. Clinton can't use it ?

I agree Fred is our best chance. As far as Hillary goes I felt when Klinton got elected that Congress could keep hin leashed if the anti gun bills came up. Well we all seen what happened there he had a Congress that worked with him and we got screwed every time we turned around. Unless you would have a House and Senate that would be Veto Proof and Republican if Hillary gets in we are screwed and I cannot see us getting a Veto Proof House or Senate at this time unless between now and then the Demoncrats would screw up big time some how.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Judging by the past in my state. The peoples republic of Minnesota. I probably won't matter who I vote for for president. The socialists in the Twin Cities metro area control the vote and always vote for the Marxist Demoncrats.

I think Minnesota has become fond of putting Muslims in office (the senate), so heaven forbid if Osama Bin Laudin himself should run independent.
Down here in Texas, OUR SENATORS, are Republican. They are idiots, but their Republican. ;D
