Tom called me this evening, and has been having computer problems.
At this time, he's not able to get online to participate in this forum or receive any e-mail correspondence.

No badge, but he did say that he had a decoder ring from one of the old radio shows that I could use.
They're not sure if they can fix his old computer, so he'll likely be looking for a new one this weekend.
He's currently running a 1979 Apple II with 4kb RAM, 20k of memory and a "Sweet 16" monitor. I had sent
him a card to plug into the expansion slot to increase the memory to 48k, but that might have messed
up his machine...we're not sure. I'm running an '83 Apple II+, so maybe what I sent him wasn't compatible.
I'm not really up on this new computer stuff, just tried to help out another old trapper.

Mike your correct when you said "OLD" trapper, im surprised he  hasnt convinced you that spearing rats is the way to go....LOL....

Dang computer problems suck!
I'm just barely hanging on here myself and have past the point of my knowledge. Which is not much... I believe I have come to the point where the machine goes in to be looked at by a suppose Geek. I recently threw out the old 386 that I started with because I was tired of tripping over it. Might have been a mistake????

i have done lots of computer tech repairs, and perhaps i could be of help.
got rid of lots of viruses, and other things to.
