I have a ADL that i replaced the plastic stock with a walnut stock ,looks and feels like a gun now.
I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

I bought this stock (like new)on Gunbroker.com for $70.00. Some people don't like these "retro" looking stocks. I like them because that's what everyone had when I was a kid. I wouldn't even mind one of those garish looking Weatherbys. For me they are like furry dice and whitewall tires on a hotrod.

Very Very nice. I like it a lot!!!!!!!!! I have a 700 SPS and I have thought of swapping stocks myself. The thing is I did a great cammo paint job and really like it. I also really like the look of wood. Imagine that me being a carpenter. I think I should leave well enough alone because the rifle shoots way under MOA. Dale

That is one fine looking rifle. I for another really like the looks of a fine walnut stock. Retro? I think not, Classic, yes....<><....:)

Boy like I said I really do like it. I remember when I was a boy it might have been my first deer hunting season with my brother and his friends. My brothers friend had the prettiest rifle I have ever saw. To this day I still remember how pretty that gun was. His name was Shane and he was using his dead fathers 30-06. We did not get one that day but I have always envied that rifle. Dale
