What quality could be expected with a Colt/Sauer 3000, How about a Austrian guild mfg. gun.

The search goes on for my drilling. I have been selling a few guns in the last 6 months and have a few thousand salted away, so its time to get a little more serious in my quest. Regards, Byron

I've seen two Sauers with broken extractors, both in 30-06 and that pretty much turned me off to them.  I also don't like beaver tail forearms and 3000 one i've looked at had the BT forearm...  A guy on another forum has two Sauers, and he likes them and says they are a great drilling, so i guess there's two differing opinions...

I don't know anything about the other brand...

How about Krieghoff?  I've sure found the ones i've had to be reliable and accurate.

Doug sure let a nice one get away....  Shame on you Doug!  ha ha ha
