Got my New 223 Bull Barrel!

I picked up my first Handi-Rifle today. A 223 Bull barrel. I mounted a Trashco 6-24X42 Mil Dot scope with Leupold Rifleman Medium rings.
I took it apart before mounting the scope and cleaned everything up. I polished the bore with JB Bore Bright. This is the first time I have
used the JB. The bore looks looks like a mirror now! Wow this stuff is good! I had to grind the hammer spur a little. I haven't done anything else to it yet. I'm going to shoot it Saturday morning. I have a couple hundred rounds that I loaded with IMR 4895 and some Midway Dog Town 55 gr softpoints. I plan on using that ammo for break in, then I will get some Hornady 50 gr V Max next. I'll post a range report Saturday.
I really like this rifle! It looks like it is very well made. I like the way it handles too. It won't be long before I will order some more barrels.
22 Hornet is numero uno. I can also see 243 and 308 as well.

I have the same tasco scope, It started out as a test scope for new guns, I have had it on a 7mm mag,257 roberts,223,222,17hmr .45 t/c omega and now its on my 22 hornet, I never had it change poi between shots even on the 7mm mag or omega.

Interested to see how she shoots,been looking at trying the dog town bullets myself.My 223 does well with hornady 50gr bullets,half inch or not much more all the time thats with either IMR 3031,or my Blue Dot loads.Keep us posted how it does.
