Don't think I've ever heard of 4398 powder. For the .243 my powders of choice are IMR3031 for bullets on the light end and W760 for the heavier bullets. I never used the 95BT but the 90BT and W760 were super accurate for me in my LW243 and will be the first tried my my R700 ADL .243 when I pick it up perhaps tomorrow or next week.

Are ya sure you don't mean 4198? Using heavier bullets, I like H414 or H4831.

I understand what you were trying to say , BUT to start with that load is never a good idea , always work up loads

I use Reloader 19 with 75 and 100 grain bullets with good speed and accuracy.  I get 3400 fps with 75 gr Barnes an my 28 inch pro hunter.

85g is my bullet to shoot, keeping it no more than 3100. IMR 3031 and IMR 4831 have severed me well with this load.

85 grain Nosler BT's with the max load of H-414. This is a 6 shot group from my ProHunter at 100 yards. Yeah, I can't find hole #6 either.....and it was not a flier. ;D

Lots of suggestions here might as well toss in mine.

Winchester cases
Win-WLR primers
H-4350
I worked up a load which shoots the 95gr Nosler BT, the 95gr Part. and the 90gr Barnes X to almost the exact same point of aim. All three shot consecutively will hold 1 group under 1" at 100yds.

My past load until they discontinued the bullet was 38grs of Imr-3031 under the 85gr Nosler Solid base.

I have tried a ton of loads during several years of working with different rifles and found the first mentioned to be the most reliable with mention of consistancy with different rifles. Most all tried shot great withing about 1 gr difference of each other.

Good Luck
