pre 64 model 70

:D Hi guys I was wondering what a pre 64 model 70 feather weight in the great 358win  caliber would go for on the used market,it has a 3x9 scopeworth about 250 new on it.Gun is in 75 % condition overall.I have the chance to pick it up for a pretty good deal.But would probaly have to sell it later on.Money Money Money dam bills.

Northern Hunter :  I will quote from the blue book and NOT let emotion come into this as some do:  win 70 featherweight in 358 cal. 70% $900 us and in 80% $1000 us.  The 358 cal is rare because Winchester had problems with this cal. Many if them were exchanged for other cal.and the result is that original guns are rare in this caliber and BTW if it is the Super Grade model add 400% good luck on your find. :D   JIM

Thanks for the info,i'm picking it up next weekend for less then half of the book value,plus the scope.A dam good find.

northern hunter:  Glad to help sounds like you found a real gem good luck with your mod. 70  BTW I just made the purchase of another 5th wheel camper made in your area, in strathroy ont. made by the glendale rv co. its the 30ft golden falcon they manufacture I hope I will be as pleased with it as you are with the model 70. :D    JIM
