Pretty much have it completed now. I might give it one more coat... Purchases a recoil pad that I like better than what i installed maybe one other minor detail.
The forearm is bedded and I have clearance between it and the frame. Took it out and it looks like it wants to shoot some cheap factory 55 gr Ulramax ammo in about a 1" group at 150 yards.... It seemed like there was some pressure though?? The barrel wanted to open just a tad bit hard but it ejected the empties just fine??? I'll look into that when I get more time... It really sets in the bag real nice...

Over all it has been a real neat learning experience... If I can do this with the basic wood working tools and very little knowledge or skill it is hard to say what the rest of you can do... For now I am happy with this 8.00 plank of native walnut I picked up at the local lumber store....
Now to determine where to put a sling stud in the forearm to accommodate a Harris bi-pod??? It is going to look funny right next to the frame>>>
