How to package a bow for shipping

I need to send my bow back to the factory for repairs of a reoccurring problem, Any suggestions on how to package it up for shipping or am i better off going to a place that packs and ships for you,

Never sent one anywhere but could try calling factory and ask what provisions they use to ensure safe transport of bows.

Watched all the new Bowtech bows come in from the company the other day.... large cardboard box, with white packing foam inside is all they use.

It up to you, if you want to leave your sights and quiver on to ship it back and forth or not, but unless you can protect your sights from damage during shipping, I would.  Then when you get it back, re-tune your bow as it was before shipping.

I would definitely remove all the accessories from the bow and then ship it in a bow box(as described above-BowTech box).  That way the tech at the factory won't have to worry about damaging your accessories and it will not disappear.  Not saying that your stuff won't make it back, but you might end up with a different bow due to whatever problem your experiencing.

Or you can use the 'Contact Us' feature in the companies website, to find a local dealer.  Then let them ship it back for you....
If you didn't buy the bow at that shop, they should still be willing to help you get it repaired.....I do at mine.

The simplest solution that I've come across is to buy one of the, relatively, cheap bow cases at Wally World or one of the sporting goods chain stores.  These are basically no frills, plastic cases with foam padding on the inside.  Put the bow in it, secure the outside locking points with zip ties, wrap some frustrating packing tape around it and ship the entire thing.  UPS and FedEx both will ship that way.  I"ve done it twice so far and have one coming to me that way as well.
The toughest shipping for a bow was finding a safe way to pack a 69"  longbow for mailing.  I used some plastic carpet tube that the guys at Home Depot gave me.  They save them and usually have a few standing up somewhere in the back.  Cut to a shorter size, these would also make a great way to transport arrows.  Hmmmm.
