hunting laws in iowa for ar type rifles and mags

i was just wondering what the rules and regs were for using ar type rifles for fox, coyote, woodchuck,  squirrel, rabbits, and various other small game in iowa, and what is the highest mag capacity allowed by the iowa dnr for hunting? just got my rra ar 15 and i have a 30 and 20 rnd mag and just wanna be sure what i can and cant use for hunting in iowa. thanks

The Iowa DNR would be a good place to start, specially if they would decide to fine you by the shell past the legal limit :o

Lot's of other good info here like the legal shooting hours for predators. We can hunt round the clock here for fox & Coyote but only during the Red/Gray fox season which is a plus.

well i already looked on the website and didnt find anything,but i got a phone number for out local officer so maybe ill just give him a ring and see what he has to say and maybe put a bug in his ear about getting some of that info on the web site. thanks

No round count limit for semi-autos in Iowa (except for deer during southern late season high power hunt), if you want to toss a 100 rd mag on there go for it. :o
