Fazak: Check out his standings with the man on the street. The ones that vote, not the ones that don't have time. Retired communities are a good place to start. Most retirees vote, they have the time to get informed on the issues, and they have time to get to the polling places. Few of them have any interest in your candidate. Ron Paul is just not in the running. Plus he could not beat Hillery anyway in a National election. This election is going to be decided by the middle of the road (swing) voters. Those middle of the road voters will vote for Hillery before they would vote for Ron Paul.

No matter that it should not count, politics is a good share "window dressing", not fair for the thinking voter,

Lately, elections have been won or lost on very narrow margins, say.from 1% to 4% difference.

I would guess (and your guess is as good as mine), that perhaps at least 10%-15%base their vote on looks,

style, elan, charisma, humor and pizazz...

Does Ron Paul exhibit more or better looks, style, elan, charisma, humor or pizazz than most of the others ?

Sheesh and how do you know they have or have not any of them for that matter. Like it has been pointed out they all have faults of some sort none are perfect and that certainly includes RP. I am sure all of them have some things that they maybe keeping from us that we may or may not ever know. RP is no different.

A vote for anyone other than Ron Paul is just a vote against yourself,... the candidate is immaterial.

They're all puppets tied to the same string.

It's fun for the people to believe that they're a part of it all,... but to our current form of government you're nothing but a beast of burden,... and many will vote in favor of continuing to be a beast of burden.

Taking that fact into consideration,... maybe the government is correct in viewing them as such.

I have yet to read anywhere that only what we say is right and you are wrong. I agree that if you find a worthy candidate you should support him/her. In this case what I and everyone else is saying is that odds are pretty favorable that Ron Paul will not be on the Republican ticket for President. Would it not make sense to vote Republican anyway regardless of who the candidate may be because Hillary will almost surely be the Democratic candidate. I don't think there is anyone on this forum that firmly believes we will all be better off with Hillary as president. That will be the epitomy of big bloated government. It is misguided to think you should stay home and not vote because you would be voting against yourself - what is that??? TM7 you strike me as a bright individual; surely you can see the fault in that logic.

Undoubtedly, it will be a choice of one of those combinations A thru F..

So, let's gather all our brainpower into one gigantic effort and see if we can decide which way to vote makes the best sense, shall we ?
