Hi Bill,Thanks for chiming in. Most Rowland loads generate pressure levels below the 40,000 CUP level, more typically the 34,000 ~ 38,000 range. Since the 41 mag and the 44 mag (factory chamberings) are rated at 40,000 CUP I would think it to be a good chambering.Thoughts?R.
That TC Bug is incurable once you have it, so pull up a chair and welcome to the board. The Contender frame will safely handle more than half of those you listed with proper loads. 9mm, 38/357, 44MAG, 45, 223, 30-30, 38-55, 375 Win and 45-70. The Encore frame the rest (plus all the ones for the Contender as well).I'm not "up" on the 460 Rowland. Seems like I remember it as being something like a 45 Auto on steroids? Of interest to you maybe would be a thread in the TC Encore and Contender Rifle forum that turned into some basics on back thrust.http://www.gboreloaded.com/forums/index.php/topic,127790.0.htmlHTH,L.
