Does, anyone know if taurus is still making the 460 raging bull? If not Whey? ???

The frame of the RB isnt long enough to accept the .460 cartridge.  They would have to design a new frame for it.  (Who knows, raging bull II?  raging bull magnum?  haha)

Plus if they did make a .460 it would overshadow their .454RB, which is one of their best sellers.  We discussed this more down a ways in the forum a while back.

At one time i had a catalog that offered the raging bull in the 460cal. But that was a while ago. did any one else happen to see one offered?

I have seen the .480 Ruger RB, but never heard of one chambered in .460 (unless you want to call the .454 Casull a .460 Short)  ;D

I found two of the catologs that listed the taurus raging bull in 460cal-----the complete book of guns 2006 buyers guide-page118-they show it in -41mag 44mag 460mag 454casull 500mag........Handguns 2007 buyers guide listed the same on page 90. ??????????????

roger460xvr, Have you looked at the Magnum Research BFR .460 ? They make excellent quality revolvers. I plan to order one in 45-70 some day.

Went to a gun show the other day and seen a worn out 460 taurusraging bull i geuss they did make a 460cal at one time must of had problems with it and quit making it.........
